Common to all programs in all types of schools
The graduates have the ability to:

  • Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice. (PQF level 6 descriptor)


  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino.


  • Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams. (PQF level 6 descriptor)


  • Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility.

Preserve and promote "Filipino historical and cultural heritage". (based on RA 7722)



Specific to BS Marketing
A graduate of a BS Marketing degree should be able to:

  • Apply principles and strategies in marketing in developing a marketing plan for a specific scenario to achieve specific business goals.


  • Select the proper decision-making tools to critically, analytically, and creatively solve problems and drive results.

  • Express oneself clearly and communicate effectively with stakeholders both in oral and written forms.


  • Apply information and communication technology (ICT) skills as required by the business environment.


  • Demonstrate corporate citizenship and social responsibility.


  • Recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in different scenarios in the practice of marketing.


  • Conduct market research studies.

​Program Description


The BS Marketing program is designed to enable students to understand all elements of marketing and how these elements help drive successful companies. This program is designed to develop strategic thinking abilities, enabling students to better understand the application of marketing concepts to business development issues


Program Educational Objectives


Within five years after graduation, graduates of BS Marketing should have

  • Applied concepts and principles of marketing in different business scenarios.


  • Demonstrated professional success via promotions and/or positions of increasing responsibility in a business organization.


  • Demonstrated life-long learning via progress toward completion of an advanced degree, professional development/continuing education courses or industry-based training courses.


  • Uphold professional ethical standards required in the marketing profession.


  • Exhibited and implemented actions toward the improvement of marketing practice or related fields.
